The location is pleasing but I was devestated by the noise! Drilling during the day and bell ringing all night made sleep impossible. I would have thought I'd at least receive a complimentary snack for my troubles, but no special gesture was made. The tiny shower? A real marvel of contortionist design. I just couldn't give a good review.

The location is right in the center. The air conditioning worked efficiently, providing comfort during the hot nights.
Noise levels are a serious issue. Street partying and road work combined made sleep nearly impossible, especially on weekends. The room lacked a proper balcony contrary to what was expected, and the bathroom could definitely use more space.

It had particularly good location extremely close to Main Square. We got a room with bathtubs.

Dined like a true local at Museo del Jamon and had good churros con chocolate at a nearby café. The place felt just like an aunt's home-clean, quiet, and full of charm. Luisa's hospitality topped it all off.
The room was a tad cozy, and the shower was so small that I had to play a game of contortionism!

We had the queen room which was great little and tastefully decorated. The staff were VERY VERY HELPFUL and location was absolutely perfect and comfortable. A good choice of restaurants to eat close by, like El Mollete that was only 5 minutes' walk away.

Room was fantastic and nice and clean.
Bright and comfortable venue, awesome location just off Hostal Mayor, Royal Palace, Lavapies quarters with nice ethnics restaurants, La Latina area, several Mercados, more importantly-less touristic ones, and bars, restaurants, markets and stores. Very kind hotel employees all round. Nice building and rooms with good shower. Lots of options, excellent food. Decent experience there...

Great location! Just a minute's walk to the square. The hosts were super helpful, even storing our luggage for us. We communicated easily despite the language barrier, and the room was clean and cozy. Definitely a good spot for exploring the city 🙂

Location is Key!
Staying in the heart of Madrid offered convenience and energy. The vibrant atmosphere made each night exciting, but light sleepers should avoid balcony rooms. The air conditioning was efficient, providing comfort after long days exploring. Quick tip, bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise!
